I think the hardest part about early pregnancy is not really knowing if everything is working out the way it's supposed to. After enduring IF (even for a short time compared to so many) I'm so nervous that this won't work out the way we are praying that it will. I'm analyzing every single symptom and non-symptom I'm having. So many books, blogs, and message boards seem to be filled with women who are having really severe symptoms by this point (7w). Although I have to remember that every woman and every pregnancy is different and some of these women could just like to complain.
At this point, I'm pretty tired. Most days I feel the need to lay down and rest after work and go to bed about an hour earlier than normal. I did have one night last week where I woke up at 4 AM and couldn't fall back asleep. This of course happened on the day where I had to work late, so I was really tired by the time I finally got home.
Right now I would still say I am not having morning sickness Although I've had a few mornings of feeling a little nauseous and one morning of actually having some dry heaving....lovely. However, this is very hit and miss and inconsistent. I do have bathroom issues every single morning though. It's interesting and like clockwork. They only seem to happen in the morning and then they pass I feel totally fine. I'm wondering if this might actually be how my body responds to morning sickness?
My number one symptom so far is sore boobs. They feel fine most of the time, but if I bump one of them with my arm, I can tell they are very tender. At night if I lay on my stomach they feel super crunched. I haven't noticed them looking bigger, but they definitely feel sore.
Other than that I'm feeling pretty normal. Maybe a little more emotional, and occasionally have a general feeling of yuck, but that's about it. I'm hoping these are still signs that everything is going okay in there. I'm doing my best to remain calm before our big appointment on Wednesday!
