RE Appointment Scheduled

I think this is good news.  I called the RE's office that my OB/GYN recommended and was able to schedule an appointment for April 4th which I was thrilled about since it's less than a month away.  The bad news is that my insurance has no IF coverage (or at least that's what it looks like in the paperwork I have).  I am wondering if they will cover office visits and just not procedures or treatments.  I guess I'll just have to wait and see.  Anyways, the cost of the initial visit will be between $190-$250 which I thought was reasonable and within our budget.  So we're just going to see what she recommends we try next.

I'm not sure where I'm at in my cycle.  My temps are kind of up and down and all my OPKs have been negative.  Usually I ovulate around CD 19 or 20, which wouldn't be until Monday or Tuesday, but I'm leaving this afternoon for a retreat and won't be home until Sunday night.  So I'm either hoping I ovulate really early today or hold off until Tuesday or we probably don't have a good chance this month.  Although I'm not sure why I dwell on this so much, the urologist basically said we have very little chance of conceiving on our own anyways.  I suppose you never know though, right?  I'll just keep sending out good, positive thoughts and hoping for the best.  Although that's getting harder and harder each month.

  1. Yay for an RE appt! I hope it costs less than expected. Insurance can be so frustrating and confusing with what they will and won't cover!

I hope you ovulate at a good time! I know what you mean about not having much hope trying naturally, but it feels impossible to NOT try. Good luck!!
