Well...Here We Go

After about 6 months of stalking IF blogs and over a year of stalking TTC and pregnancy blogs - I decided it was time to jump in myself.  Technically we've been TTC for about 15 months.  After 12 months I went to my OB/GYN who felt I was ovulating regularly (I had been charting my BBT for about 10 months) and referred J for a semen analysis.  The results weren't great.  His morphology was only 1%.  They ordered another analysis about a month later - the results were still not good.  This time his morphology was 4%.  We were referred to a urologist.  We just had our appointment on Tuesday.  J had a physical exam and they took some blood.  The urologist, who specializes in fertility, did say we would be able to conceive based on J's numbers, but that without improvement in his numbers we may not be able to do so naturally.  We're going back in 3 weeks to review the results of a third (poor J) semen analysis and his initial bloodwork.  The doctor said he would make some recommendations at that appointment and review our various options.  

I'm having a lot of emotions about the whole experience so far and thought that starting a blog would be a good way for me to get out my thoughts and feelings.  So far I haven't even shared that we were TTC with anyone which I think is making this whole experience even harder to process.
